The size of a women’s brassiere can be a sensitive subject for some women. As for me, I have learned to embrace my beautiful “little girls” and my lifetime membership in the IBTC (Itty Bitty Titty Commitee), but finding bras that fit has been a very frustrating experience. In a world of “altered” Victoria’s Secret models there’s no contest. Those bras are not made for me. And the designer collections like La Perla are so beyond my price range I was beginning to wonder if only the wealthy can have small boobies.
Recently, another fellow IBTC member shared her secret with me and I’m happy to share with the rest of you! It’s called Lula Lu Petites. Its this GREAT little (no pun intended) shop in San Mateo that specializes in small bra and lingerie sizes! And guess what…they are VERY affordable! Finally. A place to go where I fit in most everything in the store!
They only have the one shop but I will tell you, it’s worth the trip. You make an appointment to schedule a bra fitting (an eye opening experience for anyone that’s never done this), they fit you in every bra you try on and help you find the best undergarments for your needs. It was the most pleasant bra shopping experience I’ve ever had. In and out in 30 minutes and I left with 4 new bras!
